The trend for most podcast, solo or duo hosts,

is their face is the brand. A person can be full of information and personality, tell jokes, and give advice - and we can associate all that with understanding when we see that person. The second trnd with podcast covers is to incorporate illustration whether the person is drawn or layered with drawn elements. A photo can be dated where an illustration is timeless. Full Circle with Nick & Fred started with an AI generated album cover of two horseman playing the accordion until I created a brand identity - personalized to fit their podcast. Their audience grew and shirts were designed inspired by the lingo of Nick & Fred. A new album cover was requested years later to allow them to switch to video streaming platforms where their faces were removed form the album cover and a new icon was created for branding their content.
